Connor lost him that day and has been looking for him ever since, and when he finally finds him again he has to discover that Murphy does not recall any of the events. His brother has been adobted by Rick’s group, where a redneck named Merle Dixon claimed that he is his long lost baby brother Daryl Dixon.

so basically when i say they are perfect what i mean is thank god they aren’t

Connor/Murphy  & Daryl/Merle parallels

1.) Big brother/little brother feeling, Connor’s/Merle’s love for Murphy/Daryl is undeniable - big bros consider their little bros their main reason for everything
2.) Connor/Merle fucked shit up. Big time. Their mistakes put Murphy/Daryl in danger (Russians attracted to their apartment/Governor attracted to prison)
3.) Connor/Merle got caught and injured by the baddie bosses
4.) Connor/Merle tried to set things right to protect their brothers. And they did it in an incredibly dangerous way and seemed not to care that the chance of dying themselves was very likely
5.) Murphy/Daryl had to witness their brothers’ downfall/ saw them (deadly) injured because of their mistakes and how they tried to make it right

conclusion: Don’t play Norman Reedus’ big brother. You will get captured, be suicidal and get injured or die.
